For this website
"The short fiction [on Sandra Tayler's website] tends to the fantastic and contemporary, but with excursions to science fiction and fantasies hailing from an earlier era. My favorite among them is probably "The Road Not Traveled", although all do a great job of exhibiting a fine writing "voice" and flare for subtle detail." --Darwin Garrison, editor Darwin's Evolutions

For Hold on to Your Horses
"The story is both charming and useful, and the illustrations are nothing less than exquisite. But you don't have to take my word for it; the author and artist have made the entire book available as a free PDF download."
--Amy Sisson, Eclectic Reviews
Not in Kansas Anymore writes about how Hold on to Your Horses is being absorbed and loved by her little girl.
She is Too Fond of Books writes: "Hold on to Your Horses is a fun picture book that uses horses as a metaphor for children’s ideas and enthusiasm. A horse can be wild and out of control, it can gallop happily and cause no harm, or it can be led to a shady meadow for some quiet time...we have times when the kids (and their ideas and actions) are galloping around the house, but I’ve been able to connect them with the book and bring them back under control (sometimes … there’s no “magic bullet” for parenting, after all!)"
